Amsterdam On The Go is designed to work without requiring an account for normal map browsing. If you choose to sign in to submit a place, review or public event, authentication is handled through Supabase. Submitted content is moderated before it becomes public.

Location

The browser asks for location access only when you choose a feature such as “My location”. Location permission is controlled by your browser or device. The site does not need continuous background location tracking.

Google AdSense

This site uses Google AdSense. Google and advertising partners may process information such as device information, IP address, cookies or similar identifiers in order to deliver, measure and protect advertising, subject to applicable consent requirements and the choices shown to visitors. Consent in the EEA

Where required, visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are shown consent choices for advertising technologies. Google AdSense and its partners may only use data in accordance with the consent choices and applicable Google publisher requirements.

Community safety

Server-side rate limits and moderation records may be used to reduce spam and abuse. A one-way hash derived from connection information may be used for anti-abuse rate limiting; it is not displayed publicly.
